Almost every store out there offers gift cards, even coffee stands and places like your local dry cleaners– not exactly exciting, but useful nonetheless.
Handmade Items
Handmade gifts are definitely a top contender in my book. If someone is really talented then it makes the gift practical and thoughtful. I was once given a wine rack that was so beautifully made I could have sworn it was made by a machine! Sites like Pinterest offer enough DIY ideas for even the most two-left-handed individuals.
Tools
Tools of course are usually for the men in our lives. A lot of women are getting into woodworking though, and a gift like this is thoughtful and I think working with my hands is very relaxing. Gifts are supposed to make our life easier and I can think of five different tools that are needed at my house as we speak, so I’m sure there are some tools out there for even the most experienced mechanic or carpenter.
